Brenda Stevenson announced an annual back-to-school
ingathering of new or lightly-used shoes. Designed initially for youth, the
ingathering has widened to include adults, who were trying on the shoes to

Colette Forrest announced a free early-vote kickoff
on Wednesday, Aug. 21 from 6-7 p.m. at the Excelsior Club, 921 Beatties Ford
