Blanche Penn announced competition between senior cheerleading teams for
Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. at the Levine Senior Center, 1050 Devore Lane

Thomas Moore announced that the event last Friday sponsored by
Mecklenburg Times honoring "50 Most Influential Women" recognized, among
others, Forum attendee Pam Jefsen of the Red Cross.

Lucy Bush Carter announced that one of Thomas Moore's former students,
Daniel Anthony Heath, would be music director for Covenant Presbyterian
Church's new contemporary worship service, Sundays at 9:30 a.m. at the
church at Dilworth Road and Morehead Street.

Charles Boddi announced a fund-raiser for the ArtHouse art gallery at
3103 Cullman Ave. in NoDa. The event is at the ArtHouse on Saturday, May

Jennifer DeRue, a City of Charlotte business services coordinator for
the Beatties Ford Road, Eastland Mall and Rozzelles Ferry Road
corridors, announced that she would like to meet with business persons
in those corridors to make them aware of grants and other services
available to them.

Week in Washington are still available and that he can be booked to give
